How To Avoid Procrastination

The problem of procrastination has been plaguing people from all walks of life. Be it student, or a college undergraduate or even a working individual, procrastination is a major concern rising today. It is essentially postponing work to later time which could be tomorrow, or next week or even next month waiting for an external motivation like time constraints to make us do the work. We'll figure out solutions in this blog today to resolve issues. Firstly, to overcome this, we'll have to take a diary and make a daily timetable mentioning all small and intricate details. After observing this, we can eliminate the tasks which are unnecessary and weren't needed. Secondly, do not fear your goals leaving them in between midway. Thirdly, do not overstudy. Focus on quality over quantity ie, try to sit for lesser hours with more productivity than to study for more hours with lesser productivity. Also, sleep on time, do not stay awake late at night. Try to sleep as early as possible in the night which will assist in boosting productivity during the next day. Further, avoid nagging and complaining and understand the reasons behind your unavailability and inability to do your work on time. Then, do not worry about your goals. Understand the efforts needed to accomplish it and breakdown how you can achieve it. Turn off your notifications which distract you. This way you'll have a better focus on improving concentration. Further, we need to learn the Art of saying 'NO'. Our friends and our family might call us for events. Learn to say NO. Try to be effective in the impact of your efforts. Write your resources which are limited in nature. Analyze how to plan things with your limited time and school classes. When you have a well planned analysis in hand, there are lesser chances you'll procrastinate. Most importantly, remember that you're the only person stopping yourself. You should follow your gut feeling and your self conscience directing you to your goals. Hustlers don't make excuses. With that, wishing you all the luck for your journey of recovering yourself.
