Artificial Intelligence is a rapidly increasing technology which has brought dramatic changes in our life, whether it is positive or destructive. Intelligence encompasses the ability to learn and to reason, to generalize and to infer meaning. With everything that is invented or discovered, there is going to be consequences, whether it is for the best or for the worst.  On one hand, AI has the potential to improve our lives by providing the information in our fingertips, more convenient, time saver and more enjoyable. Where on another hand, AI is also taking down many employers’ jobs in almost every field. Today we will get to know about possible advantages and non-advantages that it is certainly going to bring in the future ahead.  AI is something that has already been discovered way back many years ago but the reason it has become so immensely popular nowadays is because of the advance technology we are looking in order to make our daily life very easy. AI powers personal assistants such as Siri and Alexa have taken total control in our household or outside of it where we just have to give them orders and the work is done within a minute or so.  AI has the potential to treat one of the deadliest illnesses in the world which has not been cure until now. AI not only help us in this field but also help us to solve complex problems that were previously impossible or difficult for humans to do on their own. For example, AI can be used to analyse large amount of data and find patterns and trends that humans may not be able to detect it by themselves. Any work which can take hours and hours to be completed, AI on the other side can do it within a minute or so.  Another benefit of AI is that it helps us by handling basic customer inquiries, letting us to take only the complex ones, therefore saving a lot of time. Data entry is also one of the tedious tasks to perform, because of AI, we are able to take care of the issue as well. We all know the important of accuracy and precision in whatever work we are performing, AI can be used to analyse large amounts of data and make decisions with sheer accuracy and error free.  We all know how much important it is to remain safe and well sound in a world where there is lot of crime going on in almost every part of the world. No matter how much safe is considered by the police and army, we need a good computer technology to help us here also. AI can also be used to detect and prevent fraud, monitor and analyse security footage and help with password management and other security related tasks.  AI is also helping us on analysing large datasets on scientific research, discoveries and innovations that can’t be done by humans alone. AI can also use to teach and quiz students on verity of subjects. Provide an easy way to learn and grow. AI are extensive and diverse. As AI is continuing to advance, it is likely that we will see new and innovated applications in a wide range of industries and technologies, thus improving quality of life   But that doesn’t mean AI is good in almost everything. It does have some dangerous effects to the society and today we would be covering those points as well. The very first important thing is Job displacement. Widespread use of AI in almost every field has made several employees lost their job. From teaching career to advertisement industry. There is no place where AI has not entered.  As I mention that how AI has helped us to provide a great computer technology, it has also raised the risk of conflicts leading to mass casualties and destruction. This could rise the risk of hacking, potentially taking the personal information of people such as bank details, personal health records, personal photos etc. One of the serious problems that is going on right now is how AI could generate the other voices so easily. You can listen your favourite singer singing to other songs if though he/she hasn’t recorded in reality. You can also crop the face of an individual and paste it into someone’s body, thus blackmailing them for something in return, which again could be very destructive for someone’s peace of mind.  AI technologies particularly those that are data- intensive, require significant amounts of energy to operate. This could lead to environmental impacts such as increased greenhouse gas emissions, which could further exacerbate the ongoing climate crisis. The development of AI powered weapons such as military robots, could increase the risk of conflicts and warfare, potentially leading to mass causalities and destructions.   Humans are the ultimate brain behind these technologies. If we can create them, we can destroy them too. It is important how humans use computer. In order to maintain peace in the world where people are always trying to bite each other as soon as they get opportunity, it is very important that such extreme advance technologies should be used in a good way. Remember to never let them dominate humans. AI has been created by us, so we have to make sure how to use them properly.
