Over period of time, we do realize our flaws which are the major obstacles in our way to attain our goals and achieve the success in terms of career. As Mr. George Bernard Shaw quoted “progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything. Therefore, it depends on us, do we want a change or do we want to continue with the same lifestyle without putting many efforts to create the best version of ourselves With the constant comments and comparison made by our parents, friends and society made us lose our sell-esteem. We find it hard to muster the courage to start fresh for the new beginning. We slumber deep into that dark cycle of lost confidence, people pleasing phase and ignore all the factors that are leading us to the path of failures but focus on one fact that we are not trying enough. Furthermore, we like others objectify our efforts as ‘not enough’. We fail to appreciate ourselves during all the hustle of life. Now the question arises how to gain yourself back. Let’s begin with a healthy start. Get a good sleep of 7-8 hours which is quite essential for your body to work efficiently the very next day and will act as kick-start for your productive day. Start Appreciating yourself because if you won’t how could you expect others to do the same, even though it’s a small achievement you wouldn’t be able to achieve that without your efforts. Manage your time efficiently. Create a to-do list, plan your entire day activities and time needed for each activity. Read books-reading makes you aware of the knowledge and helps you build your focus. If you are not a reader you can be one by beginning with short stories of your favourite genre. Healthy diet- A healthy diet is always needed for proper functioning of your body, intake of proper vitamins, proteins and mineral is needed, drinking lot of water to keep your body hydrated. Focus on you academics and gain new skills- To succeed in terms of career, you’ve to work on your studies along with learning new skills which are in demand according to today’s era. Exercise- Waking up early, doing certain exercises which favor your body and it’s requirement. Doing exercises daily makes you physically active which itself has many benefits. Keeping a good company- A good company also plays a vital role in the overall personality development process. You learn from them, they give you good advices, motivates you to work harder. People who refrain you from doing better, mock your efforts and makes the process more miserable for you, you should cut them off. The desire to change yourself and your habits for good is the first step you take for yourself and you should be proud for taking that step. Believe in yourself, don’t underestimate yourself and be confident, you’ll shine for sure.
